WELLNESS TREATMENTS

IV Vitamin Therapy

IV Vitamin Therapy delivers high doses of vitamins and minerals directly into your blood stream, intravenously.

When vitamins and minerals are ingested orally, the body absorbs nutrients more slowly, and not always in full effect. This occurs for a variety of reasons such as: malabsorption or digestive issues, poor gut microbiome, medications, pathogens or increased stomach acid. Administering vitamins and minerals intravenously allows for more rapid absorption and nutrients to be absorbed at higher doses.

What are in the infusions?

Each IV vitamin infusion is uniquely tailored to the individual’s health care and wellness goals. Mixtures are based on individual assessment, health history and symptom management. Typical mixtures can include varying dosages of:

  • Vitamin B6
  • Vitamin B12
  • Vitamin B5
  • Vitamin C
  • Magnesium
  • Calcium
  • Thiamine

Are there any risks associated with IV vitamin therapy?

The most potential risk of vitamin infusion is the over delivery of vitamins and minerals. Other risks associated include: allergic reaction, infection at the site of IV insertion, vein irritation and inflammation. As always, the provider will go over detailed health history and medication review prior to any treatment. If there is concern of baseline serum vitamin and mineral concentrations before the procedure, the client will be sent for laboratory testing beforehand, which is arranged for you by the provider.
